Ingredients

4 celery stalks
Peanut butter (or other nut butter)

Tip: Try to use the lighter-colored celery stalks that you find towards the inside of the bunch. They are less stringy and tough--much easier to munch on!

Directions

Step 1
Kids can help wash and dry the celery stalks. Parents should trim off the leaves and ends, and cut the celery into 2- to 3-inch pieces.
Step 2
Kids can help spread the peanut butter in the celery stalks using a butter knife. You can use a different nut butter on each piece of celery for variety.

Tip: If you normally refrigerate your peanut butter, take it out of the refrigerator for a few minutes before you get started; it will be softer and easier to spread.
