Servings: 12

Prep Time: 15 min.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups quartered strawberries, washed and stemmed
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries, washed and picked through
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. honey or more (depending on how sweet the berries are)
Tip: Try these dippers: sliced apples, peaches, nectarines, and bananas, pretzel sticks (unsalted are best), plain bread sticks. If you can find Greek yogurt in your market, try it in this recipe. It's extremely creamy and smooth!

Directions

  1. Step 1

Adults can place the strawberries and blueberries in the food processor or blender. Cover and pulse several times until the fruit coarsely chopped. Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl. Kids can add the the yogurt and honey to the berries and stir until well blended. Taste and add more honey if necessary. Makes about 3 cups.

  2. Step 2

Serve as a dip with fruit or as a topping for ice cream.

Tip: If you don't have a food processor, you can use a blender, or mash the fruit very thoroughly in a medium bowl, using a fork.
