For this quick-and-easy egg, we used felt and construction paper, but you can make the whole thing with construction paper if that's what you have on hand.
Large plastic orange egg, about 3 1/2 inches tall
Self-adhesive wiggly eyes (or eyes you draw and then cut out)
Step 1 For the face: Create the egg with its pointy part facing down. Have kids press on the wiggly eyes, just above the egg's seam. With the black marker draw the nostrils and mouth.
Step 2 For the ears: Using the egg templates, cut out two ear shapes from orange felt. Glue to the top of the egg.
Step 3 For the hair: Using the egg templates, cut the hair from red felt. Glue the hair to the top of the egg.
Step 4 For the antlers: Using the egg templates, cut two antlers from the yellow construction paper. Glue them to the back of the egg, behind the ears.
Step 5 For the turtleneck: From blue craft foam or construction paper, cut out a 1/2-inch-wide by 5-inch-long strip. Curl into a circle and secure with a stapler or clear adhesive tape. Set Tyrone in the turtleneck, tilting his head back slightly at an angle.
