Print out two copies of the Ni Hao, Kai-lan Fan Printable. Cut out the shape along the dotted lines from both pages. (This is a great step for your child to do on his or her own.)
Glue the fan together
Place one cut-out face down on a table and glue a craft stick to the back of it, making sure the stick extends beyond the paper. Then, glue the other cut-out to the first so both printed sides face out.
Optional: For longer life, cut out the same shape from a piece of cardboard and glue to the back of one of the cut-outs before gluing both sides together.
