Lesson 3: The Power of Conditioning & The Iceberg Analogy
The residents of Two Mills accepted the line dividing their town, because the town had always been that way. It took a new person coming to town who didn’t know the rules to make people think differently. When we hear the same thing over and over, we believe that thing is the truth, until someone tells us differently.

Maniac Magee, Lesson 2: Cross the Line
In the movie, the town of Two Mills, PA was divided into the East side and the West side, and no one on either side would cross the line until Maniac Magee came to town. There are many lines that separate us in our lives – where we live, which school we go to, and which sports we play are all examples. We’re going to talk about some of the lines we cross everyday.
Lesson Plan
