Meet Princess Nella! She is a kind and compassionate princess as well as a heroic and adventurous knight. Nella embraces both sides of herself – she wants to dance at royal balls and meet fire-breathing dragons. When a challenge arises, Nella’s Knightly Heart necklace transforms her from a princess to a knight while her tiara becomes a sword, lance, archer’s bow, or shield. If she’s not saving the day, Nella loves bowling with King Dad, gardening with Queen Mom, and playing with her baby sister, Princess Norma.

Trinket is Nella’s unicorn BFF and the most glamorous girl on four legs! She’s always ready to accompany Nella on an adventure, even though she’d prefer to stay at home picking out the perfect hoof-polish or maintaining her mane-do! She’s dainty, prim, and refined. She tends to worry more than Nella about what others think, but nonetheless, Trinket is a loyal, loving, supportive friend who is always impressed by Nella’s courage to stand up for herself and others.

Sir Garrett is a seven-year-old knight and Nella’s loyal friend. Sir Garrett is chivalrous, loyal, daring, and kind. He’s a bit more traditional than Nella, and sometimes he can be a bit more nervous, but he ultimately admires her approach to knighthood! Sir Garrett is very knowledgeable, in part owing to his pack of Knightly Trading Cards he always carries to identify Castlehaven’s many creatures. He always travels with his trusty steed and buddy, Clod.

Clod is Sir Garrett’s trusty steed! He’s an animal with the body of a horse, the antlers of a bighorn sheep, and a bright blue mane. There’s nothing that brave Clod won’t do in the service of a knightly adventure – no matter how rough and tumble the challenge. Clod does everything with passion and heart, though he often makes mistakes. He is lovable, loyal, and always quick with a good joke!

Nella’s endlessly supportive, fun-loving royal father loves to energetically sing and is the proud owner of many bowling trophies.

Nella’s busy working mother always has time for Nella and is proud of her daughter’s unconventional ways.

Nella’s one-year-old baby sister babbles, giggles, and is the best napper in all the land

Sir Blaine is Nella’s friend and a young knight who tends to be jealous of all the attention she receives.

Nella’s teacher and school sports coach is also a long-serving knight who knows a lot about the kingdom.
